The evening people talk about the following winter

Dinners on granite that nobody else can reach, a proposal at the right hour, a table for two hundred under the pines. Permits, licences and the wind are ours to worry about.

The evening people talk about the following winter

How it works

Everything here needs a permit and a plan B

A dinner on the rocks means a coastal permit, a generator, ice that survives the walk down, a way out if the wind turns north, and a kitchen willing to work two hundred metres from its own stoves.

We build the whole thing, including the version of the evening that happens if the weather changes at five. You choose the date, the number of guests and the mood, and you see one plan rather than eleven suppliers.

Four evenings we are asked for

Costs depend far more on access than on numbers. A terrace at the villa is straightforward; a beach reached only by tender is not, and we say so before you fall in love with it.

Dinner on the rocks

from €480 a head

Table, kitchen, lighting and staff carried to a stretch of coast with no road, for eight to forty guests.

Proposal

from €1,900

The hour chosen with the sunset, a photographer who stays out of sight, and the boat or the terrace kept empty of everyone else.

Wine and island day

from €320 a head

Vermentino in Gallura, cheese and a long lunch, or a guided day through the Maddalena with a boat and a naturalist guide.

Wedding or large party

on request

Up to two hundred guests: venue, licences, catering, music, flowers, transport and a plan for wind and for rain.

The questions we are asked most

How much notice do you need?

Six weeks for anything over fifty guests, two for a dinner or a proposal. Below that we will tell you honestly whether it can still be done well.

What happens if the wind gets up?

We decide at five in the afternoon and move to the alternative venue, which was booked from the beginning and costs you nothing if it goes unused.

Can we get married here?

Yes, civil ceremonies in the comune and symbolic ceremonies almost anywhere. Paperwork for foreign nationals takes about eight weeks, and we file it with you.
